My Seat at The Sitdown

If you are already a listener of the podcast, you are probably well aware of the fact that in mainly Kyle's opinion, my performance in an episode had quite a bit of room for improvement. And I won't argue against it. Weak takes, unpreparedness, I felt a little out of it being put on the spot along with two seasoned veterans. What's a guy to do? Dwell on the jokes and quips from the Habs fan? Resent Jeff for nearly putting me in a body bag on Facebook?

I won't have it. To have my name, my brand, my self worth, being compared to a fucking rock in a pair of shoes? Forget the world hunger. I can't leave the Jylkka family name being remembered for such a moment. That is why I, with great honor, decided to accept Jeff's invite to be a part-time writer for the blogging side of "The Sit Down." I don't know exactly what I will be writing about. Funny videos? Crazy world events? The Bruins depressing their fans? I can almost guarantee the latter. But in all seriousness, I just want to have fun and write a few paragraphs here or there. And if I can pump out a bit of mediocre content for my friends, then at least I will have accomplished something for their media endeavor.
